Kamalani Moufa: Lead Editor
Kamalani Moufa is a 3rd year undergraduate student majoring in Pacific Island Studies & English. She has been working at Hawaii Review since Spring 2025, initially working as the assistant manager. She is currently the lead editor for the 97th issue that is currently under production. The 97th issue is curated towards the 21st century Pasefika experience, hoping to illustrate how modern-day Pacific Islanders navigate through the world holding multiple cultural identities.
She hopes to pave a path for other Pacific Islanders within publishing, writing and creativity, giving them a space to tell their stories and own the narrative.
