The third annual Words@Manoa Creative Writing Conference, co-sponsored this year by the UH Manoa Creative Writing Program and the Hawai'i Review, was a great success!
We made almost $500 in this fundraising effort for the journal, and had over sixty participants. We had music played by our friends at KTUH, folks from the Ka Leo group handing out gift bags and handling registrations, a table with swag and souvenirs shared by Hawai'i Review and the Creative Writing Program, books sold by Tinfish Press and Revolution Books, and tasty catering from Da Spot. Thank you to all who attended and supported creative writing in our community!
We have archived the conference page with the full schedule and speaker bios, and hope to maintain this partnership and add to the archive next year. Stay tuned for photos from the event!
