Bonnie Etherington | is from New Zealand but grew up in West Papua and Australia. She currently lives in Chicago where she is studying at Northwestern University for a PhD in Literature. Her short fiction and poems have appeared or are forthcoming in publications including Guernica, Landfall, takahe, Headland, and Meniscus. Her first novel, The Earth Cries Out (Vintage NZ, 2017), was long-listed for the 2018 New Zealand Book Awards.
